Write to us at [email protected]. It is the one address for everything on this page. We use your message only to answer you: see our privacy policy.

What we can help with

  • A mistake on a page. Tell us the page and the sentence, and add a link to a source if you have one. If you are right, we fix the page and add a dated note. See our corrections policy.
  • A question about an article. We can explain what a page says and where a figure comes from.
  • Press. Send your request to the same address.
  • Partnerships. Send us your proposal. No partner can pay for a score or a ranking: we rate every product with the same method, whether it pays us or not. See our advertising disclosure.

Please do not send us passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or ID numbers. We never need them.

What we cannot do

  • Fix your device or your accounts. We cannot give one-to-one technical help with your phone, computer, router or accounts.
  • Recover a hacked account or lost money. We cannot do it, and we do not recommend services that promise to. Use the official recovery procedure of the service or bank involved.

To report a scam or fraud, use ReportFraud.ftc.gov, the Federal Trade Commission’s reporting site. To report internet crime, use ic3.gov, the Internet Crime Complaint Center run by the FBI.

Be careful with anyone who offers to get your money back. The FTC advises never paying up front for a refund, or for help getting one.
